The Bifocals
The Gravenhurst Bifocals Concert Band is a group of mature musicians who meet weekly from September to July to rehearse and perform concerts in the Muskoka area for our local community partners such as Schools and Senior Residences.
The band began many years ago when a group of retirees began to learn to play as part of an adult education program. The band now is home to people of all ages and walks of life who share in the joy of making music.
Do you play a wind, brass or percussion instrument?
We rehearse every Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30 at the Gravenhurst Senior Centre, 48 First St. N.

A Musical Kaleidoscope
The Gravenhurst Bifocals Concert Band will be concertizing on May 31 at 2pm in the lovely Gravenhurst Trinity United Church. The band is pleased to present a nicely varied collection of tunes designed to please every ear, ranging from classics like Erickson's Toccata for Band, to Leroy Anderson's Jazz Pizzicato, to Broadway's Cats and Man of La Mancha, and on to pop tunes from the Association and the Mamas and the Papas. And, of course, lots of cowbell!

Bifocals Summer Concert

on the Barge at Gull Lake Rotary Park
The Gravenhurst Bifocals Concert Band will perform our Salute to Summer concert as part of the Gravenhurst Barge series this year. You'll hear a variety of music, including classical, jazz, pop, and rock that is guarantees to have your toes tapping. We will be playing many of your favourite songs as well as some delightful classics. Don't miss this great concert with Gravenhurst's own Bifocals Band!
